everything should be perfect and poisonous, beautiful and destructive. it’s fascinating to see how the most beautiful things are the worst at the same time. like perfection isn’t allowed to exist. i think that’s why we feel the need to do great things, dangerous things. like adam and eve ate the apple. we love the things we should fear. why? because its beautiful. it attracts us like nothing else does. we think beauty and poison are opposites. in fact they’re the same. i live by contradiction. i hate the things i love and i love the things i hate. it’s really that simple.

take wrong turns. talk to strangers. open unmarked doors. and if you see a group of people in a field, find out what they’re doing. do things without always knowing how they’ll turn out. you’re curious and smart and bored, and all you see is the choice between working hard and slacking off. there are so many adventures that you miss because you’re waiting to think of a plan. to find them, look for tiny interesting choices. and remember that you are ALWAYS making up the future as you go.
